Okay let's talk about why I'm now unofficially referring to this place as Luigi Calzone. The cheese-to-sauce ratio is a masterpiece, and every bite is a reminder that life's too short for bad pizza pocket. Thin sliced Ny pizza slices you easily could fold like a true New Yorker or go full savage and eat it flat--either way, you win. Grab their meat calzone. This thing isn't just food--it's an experience. A golden, crispy, cheese-stuffed pocket of joy, packed with layers of savory meats and melty mozzarella, served with fresh in house marinara (which, yes, still pairs beautifully with ranch--don't fight it). It's the kind of meal that makes you rethink all past calzone decisions. All of this in a classic pizza joint setting--indoor, outdoor, that perfect casual vibe. Maybe you're posted up inside or maybe you're soaking in the fresh air outside, but one thing's for sure: there's a mini arcade game nearby, just begging for some nostalgic button-mashing between bites. A slice in one hand, victory in the other--welcome to peak pizza night.

I'm a pizza lover and I'm very picky with pizza. This place is excellent for "To Go" orders. The pizza is huge and very thin and crispy. Loaded with all of your favorite fresh toppings. I ordered two large pizzas for two grown men. I could have fed 4 grown men a skinny woman and a set of twins with the amount of pizza they gave me. There isn't much seating but I do believe they have an outdoor section in the back of the restaurant. This is a great spot for pizza if you just want good pizza. They have gelato and other items. But, it's a pizza place, so get pizza.

This was our second choice because our first choice apparently had their employee holiday party and were closed and I was dreading it because I'm trying to not eat pizza if I don't have to on the account of the carbs and the fats and whatnot. To my surprise, the Luigi's salad was actually damn good. Maybe not the healthiest salad on the planet with the delicious bread stick they give you but still really good and not the typical pizza place salad. I did try a little pizza too. It was decent too.

Small place. Big yum. I was very hungry when I stopped by Luigi's. The restaurant is small, but neat with friendly staff. I was impressed by her willingness honor our requests of half toppings on our pizzas. The supreme pizza and the eggplant one were extremely tasty and warming, especially in the cold. The sauce was perfectly balanced and the toppings were well made, all coming together on an excellent made dough base. The max and cheese bites were also an unexpected pleasant surprise, with there being enough to share.

Even after 12 years the food consistency is still there. Pizza has a thinner crust, so if you like it thick & packing this might be a turn off. They don't charge more for doing a half and half. We popped in before zoo lights. Enjoyed the now closed patio area and free play pac man table. My kids tested the cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks and it exceeded their expectations.

This is my favorite pizza in the Houston area. I always order the 16 inch supreme pizza to go which includes pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, black and green olives, red and green peppers, mushrooms and onions (pic attached). Really good pizza and I'm originally from Chicago . You order at the counter and if dining there, they'll bring out your pizza, else you pick up your to-go order at the counter. They have very limited seating inside and some covered outdoor seating at the restaurant itself. Right next door is an open space where people hang out. There are chairs and hammocks. Next door there is a full service bar. Luigi's does not serve alcohol, but you can walk over and grab a cocktail to go with your meal. I rarely eat there, but will have a glass of wine while waiting for my take out order.

Mostly good. I like that they sell single slices. The pizza is good. Can be a bit sloppy at times. The fries are really good. The spaghetti is just ok. Not super flavorful. The sauce is just tomato sauce, it seems. The staff is always friendly.

I've been to Luigi's a couple of times and it's always good! Being attached to Axelrad means they're always busy, which can make the ordering area a little tight, but the line moves quickly. Staff is friendly and slices are huge - two signs of a great pizza spot! Their buzzer system works well, so you can crab a seat on their patio or head next door to grab a drink while you wait. This last visit I feel like I wanted my slice a little cheesier? Something about it felt drier than usual if that makes sense. But I still very much enjoyed the flavor and my mom loved her supreme slice! Will be back for the good food and great atmosphere.
